The Power of Abundance

Wanting more is a great start to having more in your life, but you need to realize that the energy of wanting is an energy that signifies that you don’t already have all that you need.

What you need to do is to start looking at the power of abundance and the power of manifesting what you desire. You need to start looking at your life and believing that you CAN have all that you want – and probably more.

To do this, you need to follow these simple Feng Shui tips:

• Talk about your income as though it’s higher than it is – Now, this doesn’t mean you should be boasting about numbers to your friends, but you should begin to look at your life as something that’s not hindered by money troubles. To yourself, remind yourself that you are making X dollars. You can even take a past pay stub and change the amount of money that is listed on it. Post this ‘new’ pay stub somewhere you can see it easily to remind yourself of where you will be soon.

• Create plans that depend on you making more money – By putting out the energy that you will be making more money in the future, you will begin to set the universe’s energy into action. Start thinking about a trip to Aruba or Europe or whatever exotic place you’d like to travel. Research the trip and don’t worry about the prices. Plan out the trip as though you were going tomorrow. Hang up reminders of this trip in your wealth and prosperity corner.

• Surround yourself with abundance – A plain apartment or home is not the best energetic setting for someone who wants more money in their lives. While you might now have a lot of extra money to spare, you might want to treat yourself to ‘rich’ things that will show you how your new money-filled life will be like. For example, you can buy yourself fresh flowers once a week and enjoy them. Or you can fill your home with friends to restore the energy of having a lot in your life, even if it’s not money right now.

Getting What You’re Worth

Whether you’re working for someone else, have your own business or looking for a business to start, you know that you’d like your paycheck to be a bit bigger than it is right now. But if your boss doesn’t seem to be giving raises, you don’t seem to be getting picked for promotions and business opportunities seem unavailable it’s time to take action with Feng Shui.

1. Move your desk to a position that allows you to see the door – This is going to help you see new opportunities and to increase your visibility in the workplace. If you can’t move your desk (some people can’t), try placing a mirror beside your computer to help you still view the door whenever you are sitting down.

1. Add a bamboo plant to your office space, preferably near the entrance to your space. These lucky plants are not only easy to take care of, but they also enhance the prosperity of your setting, no matter what your job. They’re not called lucky bamboo plants for nothing.

1. Make sure your space is well lit – In order to let the energy of more money come into your space, it needs to be bright enough to attract that energy. Turn on your lights, open the blinds, etc. If you can’t seem to get enough light in your space, bring in an additional lamp to help out.

1. Don’t keep dead or dying plants around – You might have had great expectations for a plant in your office, but if you haven’t been taking care of it and it’s beginning to wither, it’s attracting the energy of death to your desk. And that’s not going to bring energy to your money desires.

1. Dress for success – This old adage has value in relation to Feng Shui. If you’re not dressing as though you already have the job you want or the salary you desire, you’re simply dragging your energy down. Instead, come to work in neat clothing that’s appropriate for someone in a slightly higher level at your company.

1. Take time to visualize your increase in income – Even if your company isn’t handing out raises right now, that doesn’t mean you can’t think about what you’d like when they do. In your mind, envision the positive qualities you exude, and then ‘see’ them bring in you the income you want.

1. Be positive about all added income sources – It’s easy to get upset with your boss if you are only offer a 50 cent raise per hour, but when you complain about this, you are downshifting your ability to make more money. Instead, be positive about every increase in your job’s pay or responsibilities. This will open up the doors to greater opportunity.

When you want to draw money to you, you need to create the opportunity for it to come to you. If this means that you start applying for high paying jobs, then you should. If this means that you should start looking for secondary or primary income opportunities you should. After all, what’s the worst thing that could happen? You could get the opportunity of a life time.
