Health and Vitality Using Feng Shui?
Your health is something that you probably take for granted. We all tend to put ourselves and our bodies on the back burner when we’re stressed and when we’re tired.
But that’s the exact time when you should be balancing your energy and restoring your health. That way, you can make sure to keep up with your life and stay healthy and happy.
On the Track to Good Health
When your body is sick, there are a lot of possible reasons why this might occur.
• Your energy might not be balanced
• You might have stuck energy
• You might have too much/little energy
There are many reasons for each of these conditions to happen.
But by realizing how your environment is related to your personal energy, you can begin to shift your energy into a healthy balance:
• Focus on the center part of each room – The center area of your home and of each of your rooms is where your health energy resides. When you take the time to keep these areas of your home clean and organized, you will keep your energy from getting chaotic, which can lead to illness. In addition, you should try to keep these parts of your home free of obstacles. You don’t want to get in the way of healthy and healing energy.
• Make sure energy can come into your home – If you want to make sure you are getting enough energy, you should check to see if your front door is visible from the outside of the home. Some doors can be covered by trees and other barriers, making it difficult for energy to reach the inside. Make sure that your front door and the entranceways to each of your rooms are clear and easy to access.
• Remove any heavy objects from the center of your rooms – These will anchor down energy into the health centers of your home and life, making it difficult for you to release negative energy that might have built up.
• Remove anything metal from the bedroom – Metal objects conduct electricity and with any electronic devices in your room, you will increase the energy to unhealthy levels and cause your health to deteriorate.
• Remove anything negative from your environment – If you have pictures that you don’t love or images of things that you now associate with a bad memory, make sure to remove them from your space. You want to surround yourself with love and life, and things that make your prone to healing. Take these negative items and remove them from your home entirely, if you can.
• Super clean your home – Just as you would clean your home to get rid of germs, you should also clean your home to get rid of bad energy. Clean your home from top to bottom to accentuate the energy of new beginnings and fresh starts.
Recharging Your Body
Now that you know that things to avoid, here are some Feng Shui cures you can use to help you promote healing and healthy energy in your life.
• Hang a multi-faceted crystal in the center of each room or just the center of your house – This will help you spread energy to all corners of the room as the light is broken up in these crystals. The crystals will also turn as they hang, further sending energy to dark and light areas.
• Choose a natural mattress for your bedroom – This will help create a supportive environment for your body to heal and to relax as you sleep. Natural fibers are always more supportive than those which are mass manufactured and that contain chemicals.
• Keep the center of your rooms bright – Try to make sure that the center of each of your rooms is light and inviting. This will encourage energy of a similar nature to stay in the room and to spread into other parts of the room as well, healing as the light spreads.
• Add plants to your home – Since plants naturally cleanse the air, it only makes sense to have these in your home as well for your health. Chose plants like the spider plant, a fern, or a peace lily to help you rejuvenate stale air that might be in your home, naturally.
• Add chimes or bells to your space – These, when rung, will help you dissipate stale energy and promote healing energy in your space. Try to have these placed near to the center of the room or at least focus on using these items in the center of each room when you are feeling under the weather.
• Use yellow or green in the space – These colors are attractive to the healing energies, promoting health and harmony in your body. Try adding a yellow rug or a green candle in the center of your room to encourage the changes you desire.
• Try an octagon rug – If you can find one, try to place a simple octagon rug at the center of your room. This is a strong symbol for healing and it makes for a lovely piece in any room.
• Add water features to the center parts of your rooms – If you have space, a nice fountain or pictures of water features will help to release a soothing energy to your room that promotes rejuvenation of the body and the mind.
To become a healthier person, you can’t dismiss the power of healthy habits too. You need to treat your body like a temple, eating foods that are healthy and exercising regularly.
