At first glance of this photo, you feel warm and inviting, but there is something about it that says I’m not sure.
Let me break it down for you.
The wood paneling on the walls carries of the natural energy of warmth. It is a major statement in the room. But there are several items in this photo that conflict with that warm energy.
The feng shui color used in this space are cool colors.
This is not to say that you can’t use warm and cool colors together but in this space they have not been done well. The grey sofa up against the warm wood is a major conflict in elements. If the sectional was pulled away from the wall it would not create as much conflict.
