Look at all this wood.  It is so warm and inviting, yet a little overwhelming.

Yes, a little feng shui color would balance this out.

Maybe an area rug too.

However, this is not the reason I show you this photo.

Take a look at the effort ant work that went into the ceiling design.  They spent some money here to add this detail but created and energy that keep the people who live here living inside the box, void of creativity and the ability to grow and expand.

This ceiling design also creates soffits around the edge of the room.  These carry heavy sha energy.  Because of this those who use this space will find themselves always working at the center island.

This perpetuates limitation.

Put your hand over the ceiling part of the  photo and see how much better the space feels to you.  If this was my home I would enclose the ceiling treatment with beautiful lighted stained glass at the same level as the soffits.

This would add much needed feng shui color and feng shui chi energy.
