Spread Good Karma!

Feng Shui and Color are a Perfect Mix
Adding color to your home is a great way to add new energy and
it’s the fastest way too. If you’ve ever decorated before, you will notice
that rooms feel lighter or darker, depending on the colors you’ve used. But
not only are the colors brighter, but they can also affect your mood. In
Feng Shui, using different colors will allow you to attract different
energies into your home, energies which can influence your life and those
people in your life. And adding color to your home will create more
happiness in your life.
Black and White
While many people think of black and white as being the absence of ‘true’
color, this is not the case in Feng Shui. Black and white each contain
energy that can change the way a room feels and what energies might be
floating around in your life. White, for example, is associated with purity
and confidence, helping to create a soothing tone in any room of the house.
It is the absence of color and is a reflector. Think about looking at a
light. It’s difficult on the eyes because the light is radiating out and
pushing your away. Homes that have an abundance of white will push people
out and they will not spend much time there..
Black is associated with money and income. By bringing more black into your
office, for example, you can begin to increase the energy of new work
prospects and higher salaries. The color black is also an attractor of
energy
Blue and Purple
Blue is known to also be calming when used in Feng Shui. This color comes in
a variety of shades, which makes it easy to add blue to any room of your
home. The only trick is that you don’t want to use too much blue as this can
be overly watery, which will not create a balanced energy in your house. The
color blue is great to use for communication. Used in the bedroom will
create more communication in your relationship.
Purple is a color associated with royalty as well as with spiritual matters,
so if you’re concerned about your energy on an ethereal plane, this is a
color to add. You might also want to use purple in a room where you might be
meditating or doing other spiritual practices.
Yellow and Orange and Red
When you want to add Feng Shui energy to your life, choose the brighter
colors of yellow, red, and orange. All of these colors draw in excess
energy, allowing people to feel more awake and revitalized. Red is also
associated with good luck and fortune. Orange is effective for boosting your
focus, while yellow is often used to help you with feeling more friendly and
interactive. The color yellow will make you think and is great to use where
you read, learn or study.
No matter what colors you like, using them in the practice of Feng Shui can
yield positive results.
