I have learned about Feng Shui from my mother and I thinks it works, however. I am in the military, and we don't own our own house; we live in base housing. My question is about the mouth of Chi. My base house is located right behind an other base house. I do have a walk way going to the street, but my house can't be seen from the street. How do I cure this? I want the flow of Chi to reach us. Help.

I live in Karratha, Western Australia, and am somewhat confused. I read from you Q & A page that if you happen to live in the southern hemisphere, you flip the Ba-Qua. Does this mean that when you walk in the main door, the wall to the left becomes the Health/family OR does it stay the same?. The back left-hand corner becomes the New Knowledge OR Helpful People (instead of Wealth)? The wall in front becomes the Career? The back right hand corner is now the Helpful People OR New Knowledge? Also we live in a very hot climate and have ceiling fans in all of the rooms, they all spin clockwise. Is this still okay? hank you for answering my query and for your fantastic website.

My bed is situated near a exposed beam. Reading from a Feng Shui article, I have noted that I have to either place wind chimes or flutes in the shape of Ba-Qua at the two corners of the beam. You just hang a flute at a 45-degree angle on each end of the beam.

I have read through all of the questions you have shown, and I would appreciate a clarification on two things. We have a "great room" which includes our living room, dining area, and kitchen. This room has 5 exposed beams. Is there any solution other than two 45-degree flutes on each? I would love a solution that might be a little bit more unobtrusive. I am also confused about the direction the house sits. We live on a lake so we consider the lake side to be the front and the road side (facing the East) to be the rear. The main door is on the side of the house facing the North. Does the direction the house sits even matter or is the location of the main door our main concern? Thank you so much!

I am a female born on 5/01/64. I have dark br. hair and eyes. I'm married for 15 yrs. My husband is born on 12/0458. His hair is blk and eyes are br. He works in as a furniture installer. We don't have the best marriage. We have had a lot of misfortune. We lost two businesses, have been in constant debt and we don't seem to be very compatible. I think he makes too light of things he should have more focus on. He's a great talker, but doesn't follow through. Many empty promises. He has no luck at work. He can't seem to advance at all. Even when we think the job looks good, it lacks in either health coverage, retirement plan, advancement, stability, bonuses.... you get the idea. He is not very patient. We have two children, a girl born 6/20/87 and a boy, born 5/31/90. They have been the best blessing. Although, since the end of summer, they have been continuously sick, battling viruses, asthma and bronchitis. I am literally just learning of Feng Shui. In your write-up you stated that when one enters a property. they enter via the "career" area. All of my books on Feng Shui indicate the career sector is North. One must orient the Ba-Qua to the home as situated in accordance with the proper compass directions. If one's front door faces West, the owners enter the home in the Children's sector of the Ba-Qua. What version of Feng Shui do you practice?
We are losing our magnetic field on the earth. We have changed the headings to most of the airports in this country since last year. You will set your magnetic field for your home by orienting from your entrance.

I need help with my bedroom. From the living room, it's on the Health/Family side. The doorway is South facing, the West wall is one long closet with wooden shutter style sliding doors. North wall is one long window (bed faces south from this wall). East wall has one average window in the new knowledge corner. My question is, I was thinking of putting my bed caddy-corner in the wealth corner. My head would be facing caddy-corner to the door. Is this okay? Also my birthday is Aug. 8,1975; 4:10 a.m., Dallas, TX. What color would be good for the bedroom to attract love?
